"Magical Bug Fun"

 

Mark Wood will delight your readers this summer with this fast-paced, 40 minute program.

"Magical Bug Fun" features comedy, magic, juggling and lots of audience participation. Watch Mark turn butterflies into butter and see a friendly spider disappear then reappear on a volunteer's back. These are just a few of his magical bug tricks in this exciting and fun program. His act can be performed for both small and large groups in almost any setting. Mark always provides his own tables & PA system and he can also make balloon animals for EVERY CHILD to take home. He's got some really cute Bee balloons this year! "Who Invented That?" 

 

Most children dream of being an inventor someday. Now, your students can learn about the people who invented their favorite toys. 

 

WHO INVENTED THAT? is a brand-new assembly program for students in grades K-6. 


Some of the things your students will learn during the assembly include: Who iinvented the Barbie doll and where did the inventor get the names of her dolls? Who is the richest toy maker of all times? The answer is H. Ty Warner, the inventor of Beanie Babies. 

 

WHO INVENTED THAT? is full of comedy, magic and lots of audience participation. Students will enjoy playing in a kazoo band and watching magic performed with their favorite toys. 

 

In addition to being a great rewards assembly, the program is also great for Right To Read Week, after school activities and summer reading programs.

 

ASSEMBLY DETAILS -
Grade Level: K-6
Length: 40 minutes
Performance fees: Available Upon Request.
Maximum audience size: 400 students. 
If you have more than 400 students, a second performance can be scheduled immediately following the first assembly. 

 

PARKS & CAMPS

Many campgrounds, resorts, summer camps and recreation departments have discovered the versatility of Mark Wood. Parks & recreation departments have scheduled Mark Wood for a variety of activities, campgrounds find his show is great for theme weekends and summer camps enjoy his zany performances and specially designed "hands-on" workshops.

MALLS

The Mark Wood Fun Show has entertained at many malls and shopping venues throughout the past 40 years. Special events include: Santa Claus arrival, Back To School Sale, grand openings and in-store promotions.

Some recent appearances include - Ohio: Easton Towne Center, City Center Mall, University Mall, River Valley Mall, Ohio Valley Mall, Parmatown Mall, Colony Square Mall. West Virginia: Huntington Mall, Crossroads Mall, Charleston Town Center. Kentucky: Somerset Mall, Ashland Town Center, Cedar Knoll Galleria. Indiana: Richland Square Mall.


FAIRS & FESTIVALS

The Mark Wood Fun Show is the perfect entertainment for fairs & festivals. Mark is pictured above at the Cabell Co. Fair, near Huntington WV, with fairboard president Don McCroskey (left) and entertainment director Richard Abel. Wood's stage shows are great for the entire family and he can also stroll throughout the fair or festival grounds. A variety of different entertainment packages are available.

CORPORATE 

Many corporations have used the Mark Wood Fun Show for picnics, grand openings, in-store promotions, trade shows and Christmas parties. Some of the past performances including the following clients: Snowshoe Mountain, The Greenbrier, KY Association of Electric Cooperatives, Anthony-Thomas Candy,  McDonalds, Wal-Mart, Lowe’s, Advance Auto Parts, Ohio University, Chemical Abstracts Service, to name a few.
